What are the earring post and wires made of?

The metals we use are either stainless steel, 24k plated gold, 18K plated gold, or silver plated and hypoallergenic for most. To know exactly what metal is used on each style, please go directly to that listing, and read the description. 

How heavy are your earrings?

Because our earrings are made from polymer clay, they are actually surprisingly light-weight, even the larger designs! I often forget that I am wearing earrings when I have them in, they are that light! 

How durable is polymer clay jewelry?

Polymer clay is very durable and even flexible. However, please do not bend your earrings on purpose. If something happens and your earring breaks please contact me via email and we can work on a solution on a case by case basis. It is best to travel with them in their rigid box to minimize the risk of breaking them.

How should I care for my pieces? 

Our earrings are extremely durable and flexible, but please do not bend or pull them to prevent damage. Do not wear them while sleeping, swimming, or showering. Do not place anything heavy on top of them. Do not leave them in the excessive heat or sun. Clean posts as you would with any other earrings. Clean clay with a baby wipe/wet wipe/wash cloth. Use a little soap if necessary. Water should be cool, not hot. Brass may tarnish over time. Keep them shiny with a soft cloth, brass polish, or carefully rub them with some ketchup! 

What if I have an issue with my earrings?

Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact me immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item. Due to the handmade nature and sanitary reasons we do not accept returns or exchanges and all sales are final. However, if you have any structural issues with your earrings, please email me so that we can evaluate the issue and work on a solution to replace or fix the issue. Thank you for understanding! 

My earrings don't look exactly like the picture on the website. 

All pieces are individually hand-crafted; as a result, they may have slight variations from the sample photo. Each piece is unique. There also may be slight imperfections. Although we try our absolute best to minimize these, it is impossible to make them 100% blemish-free due to the nature in which they are created. Please know that we inspect each piece before shipping them, and never send pieces that have any major imperfections.
